I got an email from Jenny about a cause that she works with called Sweety Girls. The website promotes online safety through a popular teen web-series:

At Sweety High we promote online safety in an environment which allows girls to express themselves through arts, sports and music. Our site runs an anti-cyber bulling campaign and to promote it we are running a one week TWILIGHT contest. We were wondering if you’d help us promote online safety and help raise the issues of cyber bullying through Sweety High? We are a start up company, but given the issues of cyber bullying are on the rise we are trying to reach a large number of girls and quickly, and what better way to do that than through Twilight!

At the moment, they are running a competition where one lucky fan can win Eclipse tickets for them and five of their friends! The night will also include dinner for everyone!

Yahoo! once again has done an article with Twilight and this time it is the Cullen house in Forks!

Being a vampire in Stephanie Meyer’s “Twilight” series certainly has its perks: In addition to possessing devastating good looks, immortality, and superhero strength, Meyer’s blood-sucking movie brood live in the most luxurious, slick, beautifully appointed house in town. This week, CNN Money revealed that the real-life Cullen family abode (or, at least, the estate-turned-movie-set for Robert Pattinson and company in the film adaptation of “New Moon”)—an ultramodern, immaculately renovated, modernist spread in West Vancouver—is currently on the market for a cool $2,998,000. That may seem steep, but it’s an outright bargain compared to the original price tag ($3.298,000) when the home was first listed by agent Jason Soprovich last November.

YEN PRESS ANNOUNCES TWILIGHT: THE GRAPHIC NOVEL, VOL. 1 WILL GO ON-SALE ON MARCH 16, 2010

NEW YORK, NY (January 20, 2010) — Yen Press, the graphic novel imprint of Hachette Book Group, announced that it will publish the highly-anticipated first volume in the graphic novel adaptation of Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight on March 16, 2010. Twilight: The Graphic Novel, Volume 1 will be released in hardcover for $19.99 ($22.99 CAN) with a first printing of 350,000 copies. As is typical in graphic novel publishing, due to the length of the prose novel, the book will be divided into two volumes and the release date for the second volume is forthcoming.

Twilight: The Graphic Novel contains selected text from Meyer’s original novel with illustrations by Korean artist Young Kim. A rare fusion of Asian and Western comic techniques is reflected in this black-and-white graphic novel with color interspersed throughout. Meyer consulted throughout the artistic process and had input on every panel.

“I’ve enjoyed working on this new interpretation of Twilight,” said Meyer. “Young has done an incredible job transforming the words that I have written into beautiful images. The characters and settings are very close to what I was imagining while writing the series.”

Kurt Hassler, Yen Press Publishing Director, said, “Few American publishing properties are better suited to introduce a vast readership to the medium of graphic novel than the phenomenon that is Stephenie Meyer’s Twilight. Kristen Stewart was photographed for the dress rehearsals for “Twilight” and these four rare photos were uncovered. It’s a good day to be a fan of the Saga, isn’t Twilighters?

Not gonna lie, I love her hair and the blouse in this photo. I could take or leave the shorts, but she looks cute.

I think they actually used the look in the last thumbnail for the movie, but I’m kind of glad they scrapped some of these. The one with her in the blue smock looks like something a Walmart worker would wear. It has “flair”.

Now where are the “rare photos” of Robert Pattinson and Taylor Lautner? I feel jipped.
