Sweety High

I got an email from Jenny about a cause that she works with called Sweety Girls. The website promotes online safety through a popular teen web-series:

At Sweety High we promote online safety in an environment which allows girls to express themselves through arts, sports and music. Our site runs an anti-cyber bulling campaign and to promote it we are running a one week TWILIGHT contest. We were wondering if you’d help us promote online safety and help raise the issues of cyber bullying through Sweety High? We are a start up company, but given the issues of cyber bullying are on the rise we are trying to reach a large number of girls and quickly, and what better way to do that than through Twilight!

At the moment, they are running a competition where one lucky fan can win Eclipse tickets for them and five of their friends! The night will also include dinner for everyone!

Be sure to check out the site and join up HERE

VF Inside scoop on the ‘Eclipse’ premiere in NYC and the after-party

What does it take to get a room full of the most plugged-in New Yorkers to voluntarily relinquish their iPhones and BlackBerrys for an evening? An advance screening of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse, of course. Last night members of Team Edward, Team Jacob, and Team Parents of Tween Girls descended upon New York City’s Crosby Street Hotel for such an event, hosted by the Cinema Society and Piaget.

The strong turnout was that much more impressive considering that nearly all of the city’s socialites had been sunburned and heat-stroked to an inch of their lives at Sunday’s Veuve Cliquot Polo Classic. Polo player Nic Roldan seemed still to be recovering from the match. (If you were schvitzing in your sun bonnet, try wearing a velvet helmet!) The captain, attending the screening with Piaget president Larry Boland, showed off a limited-edition version of Piaget’s Polo FortyFive Chronograph, made exclusively for the Classic. As we learned, the watch isn’t designed to endure a mallet whack on the field, but it does make for an enviable movie-premiere accessory.

Unlike the Cinema Society’s last Twilight event, during which a R-Pattz spotting nearly resulted in a stiletto stampede for the ages, this time Kristen Stewart and Taylor Lautner were the guests of honor. (Pattinson was on location filming Water for Elephants.) However, a vampire-less red carpet did little to quell the mania.

Stewart’s newly red-ish locks (which she debuted earlier in the day at a taping of Letterman) were a topic of intense discussion—she’s going lighter for her upcoming role in On the Road. For Stewart, Eclipse’s more mature themes were a welcome change. “Bella’s getting older,” she explained. “It’s something that everyone’s been waiting for. What is so great about the books is that because of completely different reasons, not just moral, they have to not do it. Do it—I can’t believe I just said that! I’m excited to finally just be an adult.”

Other adults found themselves reunited with their confiscated cell phones at the after-party held downstairs at the hotel. Less-adult star Abigail Breslin wisely avoided going down the fake-ID route—the youngster made her exit immediately after the film as everyone else headed for the bar. Guests enjoyed some of the best party appetizers we’ve tasted in a while, although many rethought their indulgences upon seeing the stunning Modern Family star Sofia Vergara in a white bandage dress.

Lautner and Stewart enjoyed the party from a roped-off V.I.P. area, but the strains of the frenzied Twilight press tour were apparent. After the screening, Stewart changed out of her RM by Roland Mouret minidress into a pair of Sevens (she had earlier trod barefoot on the red carpet, a needed respite from her Louboutin heels). After arriving in New York late on Sunday, Lautner was expecting an early night before flying on Tuesday to Pittsburgh, where he’ll spend three months filming Abduction with Sigourney Weaver. Maybe being a Teen Wolfstar is harder than we realize. When asked how he spent his time during his visit to New York, Lautner had a glass-half-full outlook. “It’s kind of hard to walk down the street. But we’ll definitely ride around in the car and try to check out as much as possible from one event to the other!”

Breaking Dawn: Multiple Sex Scenes

Melissa Rosenberg, the screenwriter for the upcoming “Breaking Dawn” films, has put Twi-hard worries at rest — all the appropriate scenes will be steamy.

“There will be sex scenes – multiple sex scenes,” Melissa told Access Hollywood of the upcoming romance between Bella (Kristen Stewart) and her love, vampire Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), as she hit the red carpet on Thursday night for “The Twilight Saga: Eclipse” premiere.

“There will be feathers,” she added of Bella and Edward’s between-the-sheets moments, which involves the vamp biting a pillow.

Melissa said she is also putting in another scene devoted Twi-hards will be eager to see. (SPOILER ALERT for those who haven’t read the book!)

“There will be a child birth scene,” she added.

Previously, Kristen told Access she was curious about what the baby between Bella and Edward would look like and when asked if the little one would have baby Dracula teeth, Melissa suggested it was possible.

“I suggest she may,” Melissa smiled.

Melissa said she was hard at work on the script, and noted how far along she is.

“I am in the middle of ‘Breaking Dawn,’” she said. “I was doing ‘Breaking Dawn’ this morning and I will do ‘Breaking Dawn’ tomorrow morning. It’s right deep in the middle.”
