Anya Marina’s song for The Twilight Saga: New Moon’s soundtrack entitled “Satellite Heart” has just been revealed on her MySpace page.

Like her fellow contributors to the New Moon soundtrack, Marina’s song is completely original and penned exclusively for the album.

It begins with a bit of wily instrumental that suits the mood for New Moon. “I’m a satellite heart lost in the dark/I’m spun out so far, you stop I start/but I’ll be true to you no matter what you do” seem to be some of the lyrics in the chorus of the song.

Marina’s voice is tempered and constant, while some of the background music carries the dynamic.

It’s closest comparison on the Twilight soundtrack, perhaps, would be Blue Foundation’s “Eyes on Fire,” due to the level composition and relationship between vocals and instrumentals. The tone, too, of “Satellite Heart” carries that somber sense of loss and reminiscence that “Eyes on Fire” had in relation to the scene with which it fit.

It is scheduled, according to Marina’s blog, to be at number six on the album and will be available for download on iTunes tomorrow!

The first trailer has now been released for Platinum Dunes’ and New Line Cinema’s remake of iconic horror – A Nightmare on Elm Street, starring Rooney Mara, Kyle Gallner, Katie Cassidy, Thomas Dekker, Kellan Lutz and Jackie Earle Haley as Freddy Krueger.

The new trailer demonstrates how close director Samuel Bayer has opted to stay to the source material, with classic scenes such as Nancy in the bathtub and the “ceiling drag” appearing to be almost a carbon copy of the original. Also included in the new trailer are a look at Freddy pre-burn and post-burn.

Freddy is also sporting new makeup for his scarring, which can just about be made out in the screencap below. Without a proper head-on look I can’t be certain, but judging from the pic below I’m not too keen on the new look at this point.

Oh well, despite the makeup change, the trailer is pretty good, and further shows that this remake has thrown all the cheesy cliches out of the window in favour of a darker, more sinister atmosphere.

ANNOUNCEMENT: NEW MOON

Summit Entertainment has announced that the World Premiere of NEW MOON will take place on Monday November 16 in Los Angeles.

Therefore, E1 Entertainment is in the process of organising a NEW MOON UK fan event with the cast on November 11 and will let people know further details as soon as they are confirmed.

once a week, i go to this fansite called twilol.com.  they make funny pictures of twilight in the language of cat lols (those are funny too)  There were these picts made by the webmasters (the onces with gray and color)  fan submitted picutres i thought you guys should see, and look at the site….its makes you laugh your pants off [ps, i loved they kaye fan submitted one]

My name is Melissa and I’ll be helping out as co-web to Fay at Bella Edward Cullen. Some of you may know me as I designed BEC’s first layout ever and I used to own vampire-love.com before I gave the gallery to Becca for BEC.

I absolutely love Twilight, I’m one of the how shall I say ‘old fans’ which means I knew about it way before the hype started up. I’m team Edward, I love Edward and I don’t believe he is perfect, he’s hypocritical at times, but when you are in love you do crazy things right? I love him because he doesn’t really just how much of a great guy he is and just how even ‘monster’ like him can be loved. He is completely oblivious to the good person he is, I think that’s relatable to alot of people so that’s why I think its hooks alot of people.

I’ve had my fair share of sites in the past, most I adopted out or closed due to my move to my own free hosting at Fantorium, but I am working on some sites at the moment, 3 new sites and hopefully getting Kristen Stewart Online which Michelle and I moved and need time to revamp etc. before we continue to update the site.

So hello to all the staff at BEC, to Becca for starting one of most favourite sites on the web for Twilight and to Fay who I will be working closely with to keep BEC the best Twilight site there is, and help it continue to rise further!
